The Law of Closure is a Gestalt principle of
organization holding that there is an innate tendency to perceive incomplete
objects as complete and to close or fill gaps and to perceive asymmetric
stimuli as symmetric. An example of this would be if a circle was drawn using broken lines. It would still perceived by the
brain as a circle. Through this example, you can infer the brain's tendency to
ignore the gaps and see the figure as a circle.
